Every Child deserves to feel safe.
Introduction
South Africa faces a heartbreaking reality: Baby Savers SA reports that around 10,000 babies are abandoned, each year. Even more disturbing is that 70% of these abandonments happen in unsafe places, resulting in many of these vulnerable infants never being found. Tragically, only one in three babies are found alive.
Many vulnerable children have endured severe emotional and physical abuse, leaving them in desperate need of a safe and nurturing environment. His Children Foundation SA is committed to meeting this pressing need by working closely with Places of Safety, the Department of Social Development and various registered child welfare organizations. Together, we strive to create awareness, offer support, and make a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable children.

Across our homes, we have cared for more than 200 babies and toddlers. We use an average of:
6 nappies per child, per day, adding up to an average of 7,200 nappies each month
5 to 8 bottles of milk per child, per day, adding up to an average of 8600 bottles each month
